When to stay with SerpApi
SerpApi is the most complete product in this market and the most expensive at small volume. It also does not bill failed or cached searches, which is a genuinely better metering policy than ours. Choose it if you need breadth of verticals; choose us if you need web search and AI Overview cheaply and can live with two endpoints.

How to actually choose
Three questions settle it faster than a feature table.
Which verticals do you call? If your code touches images, news, places, scholar or shopping, most of this table is irrelevant and you want the broadest provider you can afford.
Do you need the AI Overview? It is the block that decides whether anyone reaches page one, and most providers here do not return it at all.
What does a failed call cost you? Metering policies differ more than prices do. SerpApi does not bill errors or cached searches; we bill every request to a billed path. At small volume that is noise, at large volume it is the whole invoice.
